hi, i'm Russ, from cedar glen . i've been keeping fish for about 30 years- reef about 13- i currently have a 100 gallon fresh, and a 110 gal. reef. finally have the reef going good -corals are multiplying like crazy- unfortunately, now we need to move, and i'm not sure how to go about getting rid of everything, can't keep, but i hate the idea of just " throwing everything out" the galaxy coral is bigger than my head-- any ideas on how to move it would be appreciated--thanks-- Russ

3, 28g JBJ nano, AL Sol, 2 clowns and a variety of corals, polyps, and others things I don't know yet
4, I started about a month ago looking for a goldfish for my three year old daughter. The rest is history. Four weeks later, I'm over a grand invested in a reef tank, hiding most of the expenses from my wife. I'm addicted.
5, I definitely need help with this hobby. I'm learning something new every day, and hope to make contact with other similar reef enthusiasts.
6. The idea is to successfully maintain my little nano for a year, then upgrade to a larger tank, transferring everything to the new tank (hopefully much larger than its current size).
7. That's about it. I'll find a spot to post some pics of my current set-up. I've got a lot of reading to do since I'm new to this forum. Glad I found this place.

My name is Janine. My fiance and I currently have a 135gal reef with mostly easy stuff--zoas, mushrooms, candy coral, duncans, frogspawn, torch, hammers, and Ted the clam. We started with a 50gal setup we bought running off of Craigslist about a year and a half ago, and upgraded to the big tank last winter. We only have a couple fish at the moment--my pair of gold stripe maroon clowns, an 8 year old Sailfin Tang, and a foxface. My fiance can tell you more about the equipment than I can.

We started off with freshwater community fish, then moved onto Discus, which we still have, in a 150gal tank. We decided it was time to join the dark side (saltwater) and found the setup on Craigslist.

We can always use some help! Things are ok with the tank at the moment, but I'm sure we will have more questions down the road!
