The other day I picked up the Aquatic Life 100 GPD Ro Buddie W/Di that was 20% off @MarineDepot

Very Happy so far with this little guy. Makes 5 Gallons in 1 Hr and 15 Mins - 1Hr and 30 Mins.

Here's my Ro Buddie Installer ;)

So I installed the Ro Buddie onto a piece of OSB board.

I modified and beefed up this little sucker :)

Things I added:

Added a Dual inline TDs Meter:
In Before the Di and out After the Di
I'm getting 6-10 TDs in and 0 out
I think my in is up in the 400's

Added a Pressure Gauge Before the Ro Membrane.

Added a Tee before the Di Chamber so I can get fresh Ro drinking water for us.

Added a Manual Flush Valve Before the flow restrictor in the waste line.

And now pix.

Thanks...

I checked my water pressure and I have 60-65 psi coming into the whole unit... Then after first to filters it drops to 50-55 into the membrane is that sufficient enough?

From what you mention above that sounds like enough. I get closer to 70psi after my sediment filters and get a gallon/15 minutes so that's close to what you're getting. I think you're good.

If you add a extra membrane you'll double the production a day and cut your waste water in half just fyi
Hmm interesting.. How would that work? Would I loop the waste water into the second membrane then into my Di?

Have you doubled up your membrane?

I did the same. This way instead of moving the water jugs close to the unit they stay where they're out of the way and can still be filled. It also means I don't have to carry them except for bringing them in the house.

Do you have a manual or automatic flush?

If manual how long do you flush for?

Nice... Set up was super easy... Just always measure twice and cut once.. Lol

I might have to check into that float valve once I get a mixing station set up.

Nice! Thanks for the info... I'll have to consider that when it's time...

When should di resign be replaced?
Anything over 0 TDs? Or is under 5 TDs OK?
