RAP vendor

I was at Rap on Saturday and I bought a frag of terre del fuego SPS from a vendor located on the north wall right across from the big seller of clams.. He told me he was from Fresno and he had a brick and mortar shop. Well by Saturday night the frag was completely dead and I could not make it back to RAP on Sunday to show him...Does anybody remember his company name??

Thank you in advance,,, It was not a cheap piece and I know my away around SPS.. I have been reefing for more than 20 years.

I take it you're gonna ask him for a replacement or some kind of refund? That's a touchy subject. There's so many unfavorable factors that could have killed your frag that might not implicate the seller.

That's why I don't buy frag at RAP =/ Last year 8 out of 10 RIP.

well, according to the floor layout, the vendor there was "california aquariums"?

doesn't ring any bells for me.

james' question is one that's on my mind too though. i'm guessing you didn't buy an LE-white coral from the show, and that it looked pretty good, otherwise you wouldn't have bought it?

That's a tough in one, but never hurts 2 ask. If it looked healthy before you bought it then it died well that may be enough for seller 2 say it's not his problem.

Well, I am not going to demand anything.. I am going to ask him if he has another frag from the mother colony will see what we can work out. When got the frag back to my friends shop it was RTN before I even put him in my frag rack... He had mentioned that he had a problem and had lost many frags that he had brought to RAP..

We all no that there is no quarantines in this hobby, but I actually bought this piece for the owner (Chris) of Iconic Reef as a Grand Opening present..

All my 26 frags from rap is still doing good probably 6 are sps sticks and the rest are zoas though... But then again, they are not the super fancy shmancy ones..
