I've had the best luck with Red Sea coral pro. $65 for a 200 gallon bag.

I personally use the regular IO Salt at 35 bucks a box its works out great. I run my alk at 8 and dont like the Alk swings I get with using more expensive salt.

TMP $75+tx ($83) at several LFS (Rainbow Pet, Arleta). When it goes on sale i buy just like at costco, may not need it now but you will. I just bought some.

I hate how alk is low with TMP. Really do have to dose/carx to keep it up.

I use reef crystals too. SPS coral store had $40 200g sale new years so i stocked up. Then i add salifert trace.

This. I was running RSCP for a while, alk way too high at 1.025. IMO "fortified" salts only make sense if you do not run a Ca reactor or dose 2-part.

I've tried TMP, RSCP, H2Ocean, and now back to Regular Red sea since 200 gallon bag is cheaper and I dont like RSCP high alk. On second water change and so far so good corals seem to like it.

Same problem with Red Sea Coral Pro... MAJOR high ALK swing, had some bleaching because if it..Reef Crystals for the last few water changes, and at $50 for 200 gal as opposed to $69, Reef Crystals it is...

I usually run my alk around 8-9, the last time I used reef crystals I had super low alk on Newly mixed batches...I think it was like the 5-6 range... this was like 2 Or 3 years ago tho.

i use IO as well. I used to like RSCP but the alk was just too high. The blue bucket (non PRO) is what i prefer but it cost more than the 200g box of IO.
