How long would you wait?

2.5" +- established blue ring angel, recently added 1.5 close to 2" emperor angel. Blue ring beat the snot out of the emperor until he had him in a corner of the tank next to the magnafloat. Emperor wouldn't even leave his corner to eat. I removed the blue ring yesterday and he's chilling in my sump. How long would you wait to reintroduce the blue ring to give the emperor a chance to explore and conquer his own little territory? My emperor now swims everywhere and went back to eating like the little pig he was. I don't want to wait too long as I don't want my blue ring in a 12 gallon aquarium in my sump for too long but don't want to do it too soon to where the blue ring comes back even angrier because he was sent to time out.

Iv done this and had good success with a week. Iv tried 3 days and 4 never worked. So I go by 7.

Swwwwweeeet, thanks. I really wanted to try 3 4 days, but wondered if it would be enough. I'll try the 7. Give one a chance to mellow out and the other to terrorize lol.

Yeah, just sucks to see em in time out lol. He just stares at me like as if he saying "what did I do to deserve this"

Well i couldn't wait the 7 days

. waited 5 days. On the flip side when I put him back in he looked like a new fish. Passed right by the little emperor and didn't even give him a second look
