Does anyone know if this is a good CaRx? Also if anyone have experience setting this up. Is it an upflow or downflow setup? GEO website said its design as a downflow, always thought upflow is better and the norm.
I believe that's downflow. Looks like the intake is on the bottom and pushes water to the top. I had the 618 and it was great. Super silent and I never had a problem with the pump or air noise. I have Skimz reactor now though.

Just make a little acrylic box where you can collect the water that comes out of the Coral RX and add the probe there, it will eventually overflow and drip into your soup, i have one Jeff did for me a while back...

I've tested this. I had a pH probe in the reactor and the effluent. No matter witch way I switched the probes around the effluent pH was alway a tad higher. So testing the reactor is always best.
