hey, the LARS club is having a special raffle... to enter, you need to share this facebook post... share it on your timeline, share it on a local reef group... but every share i see on there will give you a ticket.... you have to be there for the raffle though...

I don't do Facebook, but [MENTION=7637]jake_francis[/MENTION] showed the COOLEST vivarium tank photos at the last SCMAS meeting. If I don't somehow win this one, I am gonna have to buy one. [MENTION=2546]gumbii[/MENTION] , you should hit him up for the info on where to get one. SUPER cool, and cheap. Your orchids would LOVE it. Thinking about poison dart frogs in the one I plan to get....

i have two starfire rimless tanks that i'm thinking of just making into a vivarium, but no animals... just plants... but so far, all of my orchids are thriving outside.. other than an encyclia and a coconut orchd just mounted on a piece of guava wood.... let me find pic...




so i'm thinking about mounting a bunch of orchids to branches, and make it look like a jungle, but still in a glass box...

One cool thing about the tank that Jake was talking about was the fact you program in whatever you plan on keeping and the inboard brain/computer does the heavy lifting.

Just realized this a total derail.. Text me for more details, but suffice it to say, I was super stoked to hear about these tanks

i don't care about the derail... more traffic to the thread IMO.. and thanks for my 500th mention on the board... YAY...


yeah, i know some are completely automated... i'm just going to have a fogger, and lights on a timer... nothing too crazy... the ceiling fan does the air circulating for me... some people will dedicate a 8x6x6 foot area in their living room to make an orchid terrarium... and they're incredibly ugly... LOL.... cracks me up... the plants are cool, but it can also be an art...

Yaaaay for 500 mentions!!
I suppose some people (clearly misguided) think Reef tanks are an eyesore.. Coolest thing to me about the new AIO Vivariums were the fact that foggers, heaters, pumps etc were included. I really look forward getting mine up and running. You KNOW who I will be calling for plants and advice.....

ugh... looks like this is more complicated than i though... LOL.. there are about 33 shares, and i can only see 8 of them because the rest are private... hahaha... so you guys are gonna have to get on your phones and show us you shared it... sorry, but i didn't know i couldn't see the names of private accounts...
