I am getting tired of fighting my xenia, and short of ripping apartments the entire tank, I am essentially ready to go the holistic route - for me, it has always worked fine, before.

So, I understand that false peppermint can sometimes eat up softies, and I would be okay with that, though they often eat up lps as well (camel shrimp).

But I understand that the Phyllosesmium Redman I nudibranch (Xenia mimicking sea slug) is a champion against, specifically, xenia.

The catch is, I do not know where to buy them. Any suggestions?

I cannot put a tang in this 28 gallon cube nano, or else I would go that route.

I dont think tangs would eat them anyways. But have you tested your water? I heard the strive in dirtier water.

I've been working on getting my water up to higher alkalinity, but in the meantime, it hasn't gotten there, and the xenia are proliferating like mad.

Did you try a syringe and some Aiptasia juice (Joe's juice, lemon juice, Kalk paste) and just inject the stalks?

Reefcleaners got back to me:no
Pet world:no
Age of aquariums: maybe/they'd try
Rancho tropic reef cucamonga: "no, bad idea. Bad idea, no." (wtf ever)

Aiptasia x = less holistic than i would prefer. I would rather pay $60 or 70 for a one shot organism that i could pass to someone else when i am done rather than get my hands in the nano if i do not have to.

Im going to try a tiger cowrie if i hear nothing from AoA. I am not in love with any of my softies, and i think i can hide my zoas in the interim.

Phyllodesmium rudmani

Does anyone know a good place to get anything special order?

The closest i can get is to put a $250 deposit down at a local place and if it comes in, it comes in, if it doesnt, it doesn't.

Its unlikely anyone importing them from the wild as they, well, eat coral. You're best bet would be trying to get a wholesaler to request one from the collectors themselves. It would probably be from a fiji importer or a Philippine one

I would think starting over would be easier then trying to deal with something that eats corals.
