I think the place was nice but as soon as you park you have to ask people where to go very bad since there is no signs as to where to go. I thought it was okay event I just think now its all the same type of event every year its more for newbies.

I had a good time. The show was comfortable with plenty of room I was that Saturday was crowded and Sunday was just right. I saw very few fish for sale, mostly coral venders. Jimmy 007 hooked me up with some great frags and I spent a lot of time with the peeps from Vertex. I do own and use the Cerebra and it has been very disappointing until today. I got to see V2 and get ALL my questions answered. I had about given up on it. When V2 is made available it will be the game changer as it should have been a year ago. From what I gathered the setup for the show was a *****. Going up to the second floor and having to wait in line to get to the shipping/recieving doc was long and arduous. Overall for me as hobbyist it was the best I've been to over the last 4 years.

For the peeps asking instructions on the UF-1 reactor just make sure the valve is on the pump side and not the exit side. This goes for all media reactors. That way you’re not pressurizing the media reactor and that u can shut off the flow when opening it up. Also the sponge is up to you. Use it on fine grain media. But not with bio pellets. The shoe was awesome with some of the best corals I’ve seen so far

I’m a reef newbie and first time going to RAP. It was fun, meeting friends and I can’t wait to see what MACNA 2018 Vegas will be like. I went Sunday 2-6pm. Definitely was not enough time, didn’t realize there would be so much to see. Got a few corals and a tang. Vendors were bagging the corals and fishes by the end and selling them cheap. I wish all vendors took credit cards, by the end I ran out of cash to purchase some equipments. Or at least have an ATM in the showroom (found one downstairs after event). Overall, I enjoyed it.

It was fun and informative just was disappointed on the lack of fish. But I understand fish are a little more sensitive to ship

First time going. It was pretty good though with the exception of a very few select items I couldn't see the overall value of going again. Nothing really out of the ordinary, no fish really, and lots of super expensive frags.

What do you mean? The event is held at the Hilton. Why do they need a sign when its inside the main building? It wasnt a very large Hotel by all means.

It was great seeing everyone at rap. Hadn't been to rap in over 5 years but man was it worth it. After the 5th Tokyo tea with friends I don't remember much lol but I did come home with a few nice gems.
