dry fit the returns... just need to glue it up. Plastic dipping the clevis hangers now. I found nylon screws wing nuts and all thread to hang them with. I already have the strut cut and painted. For the manifold support under the stand. Should be pretty slick. Credit the Grun on that one.

So basically no reefing going on atm haha 20180131_202148.jpg

Backside is done. The rubber coated clevis hangers turned out nice. Just need to replace the bolt with a nylon one I ordered.

Looks super clean Cody. Nice work.

Are you mounting some kind of coated unistrut to support the pipes? Looks like a rubber coated spring nut and I'm trying to picture how those function.

Yeah I cut some metal strut... painted it with 4 coats of spray. The clevis hangers will hang from that. The manifold is 1.5" so it will be fairly heavy. I was gonna use plsstic strap but thought this would look slick and functional. Ill be hanging my fuge light from it etc

Good question. Not sure. I also plan to drill the sea swirls for a siphon break.
I personally don't believe it will be effect with its current placement. I would lower it to the Tee and elbow( other return). This way itll have more back pressure. Optimally(if you have room). Would be to place it after the manifold(if you are running one), but before it split to your 2 return. This is optimal, bc both return will create more pressure on (1) CV compared to (2) CV.

Drilling the return nozzle is my personal choice as I am not a big fan of CV

Its tight underneath so I wouldnt have room to put it right off the manifold. Ill test it out once wet and redo it if I need to. Thanks James. Good info.

AA did a nice job on the sump. Id change a thing or two but it was things I thought of after. Im going to have to cut a slot into the return section lid as the spa flex only bends so far. I shoud have made that sections lid smaller and the rim on the backside larger so I could have done a straight shot to the pump and it would have been completely covered.
