How long does a mini cycle take? And where can I get a good deal on rock

I got the tank used minus the rock and was told that it was cycled

My tank has been cycled and has some coralline (I think that's what it's called) in it but has no rock how long do I need to cycle the tank if I put dry rock in? Where can I find a good deal on dry rock?

Hello all, I'm new to the hobby and just got myself a jbj 28 gal nano cube. It's already been cycled and has some live sand and two damsels. I want to do a nice corral tank with some fish, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will get a pic posted of the tank soon
