I currently have a 5 gallon bucket with maybe 40 pounds of rock. I started with one live rock and rest were cured with bleach (left overs from my 150 gallon build). I've been dosing copepods and phytoplanton to it along with a wavemaker going 24/7. Been fallow since August. In yucaipa.

Just checked again today on my vodka increase day (now 4.7 ml), one week apart. Haven't changed the rowaphos and my phosphate went down .02 and nitrate climbed a smidgen.

X4 dose reeflux worked for me. Gotta be patient with it and your nutrients will build up but it does work on bubble algae but it has to be the higher than standard dose
