Hey guys im looking for an anemone, really any cool color would be nice. Not too sure what I can afford as Ive seen lots of cool looking nems here but im not too sure what they go for price wise.. I would like to spend around 60$ smaller specimens preferred. let me know what you guys got!

In my personal experience it is all about practicality. Having used a fixture that was only white and blue and diy converting that same fixture into a full spectrum one, there really is a big difference and it comes back to the photosynthesis aspect of corals. They may undergo photosynthesis...

So i think a big factor of growth is not only the color temp but the actual spectrum of light being output from a fixture. For example you could use 450nm (royal blue) and 10K white to produce a nice looking color temp but after my personal experience this is not the ideal spectrum you would...

C'mon guys!! any other cool nems out there? Even if they arent yours, google and vendor pics are welcome just trying to get an idea of what I have been missing out on. The nems up so far look amazing and I have to say that I have never seen anything like those in person or online!

Why is the acid rain infamous? I've seen the name around here but couldnt really find any info about it...

woah! definitely some cool looking and rare nems up so far!! Does anyone know what contributes to the color of some of these nems? Is it the location they come from or mutations of 'normal' nems? or could nems possibly be cross-bred somehow to get these color combinations?

before looking on this forum the coolest looking and rarest bta i knew of was a RBTA. Needless to say after seeing some of the pics on here, there are some amazing looking nems out there! Post up some pics and descriptions of cool or rare nems!
