Qt tank maybe, heater, auto top off system, timers for lights. Light for sump. Salt ro/di system or water jugs, maybe powerhead or 2. Refractometer, test kit.

Department of fish and games I think

Beneficial. They eat algae. Also been reports they might eat zoas but they never bother my zoas. Had them in my tank for many years. They multiply pretty fast. Asterina stars I think if my spelling is correct.
