Above is a picture of the tank. It has been running for rougly a year. I have close to if not over 100lb's of live rock. All the corals and fish are for sale, Lights, protein skimmer, sump, pumps, heaters, EVERYTHING. Live rock for $2 a pound... all premium live rock some w/ polyps...

correction... Its a vertex 100 and yes I have been running it open. I lowered the water level to about 5-6 inches in the sump and I am still having the same problem. I have heard that the red slime algae medication can have this effect on the water and thus make skimming difficult... thanks for...

I just purchased this skimmer and it has been blowing alot of microbubbles out of the skimmer output (aka putting bubbles in the tank). The collection cup fills up very quickly with a wet watery foam (not very much skimming at all). Sidenote: I had a big problem with red slime algae about 2...

The tank is a 55gallon 48" x 13" x 20" and the front is bowing very badly. Is my tank going to explode? This is the first time i have noticed bowing... PLEASE HELP ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED THANKS
