Yeah I've checked all my levels and everything is perfect except nitrate. Yesterday after I did a 25 gallon water change I removed all the bio balls from my overflow. So now all I have in my overflow is a bag of carbon that has about 2 cups of carbon in the bag. And I did buy a picasso trigger...

I had oe for like 3 years and loved it. Only problem I had with it was knocking rocks over and eating a lot!

Welcome. So you said you had a lion fish and puffer in your last reef tank. What kind of puffer? And did you have any problems with it or the lionfish? I would really like to add one of those or both to my reef setup!

Why would you get rid of the bio balls? Just wondering, I thought they were good. I was told they catch the beneficial bacteria, kind of like in a canister filter? What would you have in your sump then?? I do water changes every 2 weeks, and get my water from a fish store so my salinity always...
