You don't cut off the polyps; you just cut the tip of your sps skeleton, not just the polyps or all you'll be doing is pissing it off lol. I have noticed that with most of my sps; whenever I take a new frag; 3-4 new branches start to grow from that spot instead of just one.

Haha mine is reef safe with caution.. What are you dosing so much of when you have a calcium reactor? I'm just curious

I eliminated this issue by laying my dosing pump tubing sideways and not having too much of it perpendicular with the ground if you get what I mean, in my case; was my issue was because gravity would pull one single drop out of the line and then the air would find its way up through the tube...
