this is awesome! i’ve just finished stabilizing my 55g and would love to add a couple of these to the top of my scape. i can potentially stop by Sunday evening if that’s ok. a digitata would be great, maybe a tort if one is still available

this gives the entire hobby a bad reputation. dealing with shady dealers isn’t worth the legal risk, let alone the damage it causes the natural reefs. it’s critical to support legitimate vendors, suppliers, and everyone in the industry doing things the right way

I would start with 1 cup of salt per gallon and then measure it out. Make sure the water is at the correct temperature to get the most accurate salinity reading as well. You'll usually be close at that point, so you can add a bit of salt or RO/DI water to get exactly where you need
i did the opposite; didn’t have a skimmer for about 18 months and decided to take the plunge and go for it. i’ve got a HOB skimmer on my 30g reef and it’s done wonders so far. seeing explosive corraline growth over the past few weeks.
one caveat: i use a canister filter and i think the skimmer...
