Dave,I use the BRS refill DI too and have never had smelly water.... what kind of container do you use to store your RO/DI water in ? could it be it causing the smell somehow ?

thank you,it ain't no fun if you can't show off just a little LOL I also have a green milli in a purple cap,but it was purely an accident,I thought the purple cap was dead and it was just coralline growing over it's skeleton,it hadn't grown any in over a year,after gluing the milli on top of it...

that looks nice.... my sour apple cap seems to be encrusting over my orange cap where they touch but it doesn't seem to be harming either in any way here was just after adding the sour apple cap above the orange cap and about 10 months later as you can tell,the orange is much faster...

I like MH for the shimmer but I'd go with T5 and replace a bulb or 2 to get to color you want,maybe add 3 or 4 bright white LEDs to get the shimmer
