You are correct sir. Number 14 is of the puntang variety. Once a month, it goes through a very temperamental period that last roughly a week or so depending on your husbandry practices. Word to the wise, make sure your parameters are spot on & system is tidy. Good luck.

I second everyone’s suggestion of feeding more seaweed if you haven’t yet. I have seen a blue hippo tang eat bristle worms. How & why? I don’t know but it was the oddest thing I’ve ever seen a fish do.

+1. Most often is thermostat failure from the chiller running too hot from poor ventilation. If it’s more than 8-10 years old, could be low refrigerant & will need a recharge. Any AC guy with an HVAC license can do the work, takes R134A. Good luck.
