Oh yeah it works I did it and totally cleared all the hair algae I had and it was a lot.

Thanks guys My tank has been up maybe 9months but the way I aquascaped it now I noticed I don’t have places to place my coral.

I found a company but they based in the UK, looking for a US company that does stuff like this. If you know any please let me know.
