Best way to get rid of that crap!!!!! Just throw away the live rock that its on!!!!! That stuff is nasty. I have a hug amazing piece of LR that is was on. I tried everything. Eventually gave up and got rid of it in 2 minutes. Just threw out the rock. The rock was expensive but well worth it.

Looks like growth to me. On my montis, all of my edges are a bit whitesh, but thats because of the growth. Not sure if its the same for you, but it just looks like it is growing. Is the white area only around the edge?

what size is the tank?

I have never fed my peppermint shrimp. Just lives off scraps. That sucker is big now too. I have had him over a year and a half.

What about feeding? I just left from Thursday through sunday, and only had someone come feed them on Friday. So they went without food on sat. Everything was great, however my nem moved for the first time in 2 years, wtf... Just glad it didnt sting anything. HAppy Travels.

I hate this starfish. I had 100s as well. They do eat coraline... I also found them eating my zoas! Wiped out an whole colony of zoas. I ended up buying three harlequin shrimps and do not have any issues. I have 3 shrimp, but willing to get rid of two. 91320

KBRA, what size uqua uv you using. I found the achilles at my lfs and wanted to buy it, so I went and got the nice big uv light for my 150g. 57watt aqua uv. Once it was setup and had some time to work its magic, i went to the lfs to pick up the fish and it was gone. (CRAP). Still looking...
