I did the fishless cycle with ammonia the way it is shown on dr Tim's website. I dosed until the tank could consume 2ppm ammonia daily then added chateo to consume all of the nitrates before turning on the tank lights. Note looks like I need to trim again.

So he had to go. It took me a week of trying to trap him before I decided to RIP the entire tank apart I bought 4 15 gallon water totes and used several buckets it took all day to get the one fish out. And I was too annoyed to put the right half together so I just stacked all of the rock.

I finally got around to setting up the right hand side this is what I went with I am also planning on adding something pretty neat stay tuned.

Well 2019 was a roller coaster and 2020 lock down is mostly done with. I think I'm done with having a tall tank I will be posting some final pictures before I shut this one down and transition to a new system. I can't believe it's been that long since I've posted here almost 2 years.
