Deep water acro is really cool looking, I’l have to get a frag when I eventually get Ofer to see your tank.

Any updates?
Tanks plugging right along. I plan to build my floating canopy here in the next few weeks to cut down on light spillage and give me room to add some t5 lighting.

I saw a small line of salt creep coming from my external overflow. I did a larger than normal water change to bring the water line down so I could check it out. Unforyunatley I couldn't get the bulkhead to release and didn't have a large enough wrench on hand. So I filled it back up........and now both have a slow leak/salt creep going down the rear of the tank.

I'm worried I didn't have that thing 100% tight when i connected my plumbing and now it's being pulled at an angle from the tank. They are leaking from the top so it seems like that could be it. Or I managed to get the frosted backing behind the outer set of bulkheads.

Corals and fish don't seem to mind :)

Feeding like crazy to bring up nutrients but no luck. Ill be starting to dose nitrate and phosphate until I can get my fish stocking up

Another group of fish in QT
Powder brown tang
Fairy wrasse unknown
Pintail wrasse
Fire fish
Midas blenny

I came across a new mini colony I just couldnt pass up at Seaside, in HB. Its got great color, he had it in the top 1/3 of his tank. I'm trying to decide whether to place it high in my tank or not. It would suck to have it go all red on me but at the same time it looks like the tips are almost thinking of getting a blue/purple.

Whatcha all think, high or medium par for this one?

I'm working (and struggling, I SUCK at wood working!) on my floating canopy. I was considering making my own diffuser lens originally. Now I'm probably going to leave it open so I can add T5 for some true UV. While I'm happy with the radion coloration, the growth is on the slower side for sure. My plan is 5 G3 pros in the canopy. the 1st and 5th lights will be angled in from the edge to help with shadowing on the side and to allow low light corals under my large over hang. Probably chalices. I'd like ot get my hands on a par meter, I have the 90 degree optics for the radions. With the back of the tank being high and the front a drop off, I'm thinking of putting a 90 degree lens on the front side of my radions to maintain high par front and back.
I currently have the 4 g3 pros at 90% AB+ modified with more white. Closer to a 14k and I'm really liking the day light coloration, still get good pop with all blues at night too. Fish look much more vibrant under that spectrum as well :)

I've been striking out with QT big time. Lost a whole group of fish to what I think was some type of infection. I've now got a group in QT with fingers crossed. If this fails I'll be taking a break from fish for a while.

My tank is very stable so far, even with me working out of town M-F for a few weeks. I've had a little bryopsis pop up here and there. Have some reef flux on the way.

SPS is where its at :)

This piece gets checked first when I look at the tank

I call this FlyCrazy since I got it from Fly5150 a few years back. Kind of a day walker tenuis, picture under AB+

Very nice unnamed tenuis from TGC a few years back

Vivid 4 loco making me pay the price for pissing it off. Almost a year since it bleached out on me and is just starting to show signs of happiness

Your unnamed seaside is awesome... how long till you are selling frags of Joe knows rainbow?
Thanks. That seaside piece just might be my favorite in the tank due to it looking just as good in daylight as blues.

Its growing pretty fast for me, if you're on the hunt I could frag a branch off the top. Looks to be about 3/4" or so.

I've got some new additions acclimating, I'll update soon.

When your ready to frag it. Joe knows rainbow has been on my list for about a year. I can wait.

I added some reef flux to the system. Either the nutrient swing or something in the product had a negative effect on some of my wild colonies. I've been battling some STN still. Luckily it only effected a few pieces really bad, most just lost some pop and browned out on me. One wild tenuis was gone over night which is a bummer.

With the coral on the mend I've been looking focusing on fish lately. I've added a moyeri wrasse, blue star leopard wrasse and a lineatus wrasse. My existing exquisite is currently on timeout in the sump until he sells or I get another group of wrasse to attempt to re-introduce him with.
Lineatus. Hard to capture this guy, always on the move.

Blue Star Leopard

Coris Wrasse is getting big :)

Not looking forward to the day this guy outgrows my system, such a cool demeanor.

My daughter name this guy Moonlight.

I plan to add a group of anthias next. I'm looking at resplendent anthias, bartletts anthias or lyretail anthias. Not sure how the lyretails would cope with my very high flow though.

I hope to add:

splendid/pintail wrasse
flame or hooded wrasse
lubbocks wrasse
orange back or solon redhead wrasse
carpenters flasher wrasse

Your system is looking dope. So are all your SPS.
Thanks man. After doing a few water changes its starting to color back up and come around. The ReefFlux worked and my bryopsis stayed gone. I've got a few stragglers of aiptasia hanging on but the nudis are at work.

I added a few more fish:
Exquisite back in the tank
Pencil Wrasse
RedHead Solon Fairy Wrasse
Yellow Fin Fairy wrasse
Pintail (died from fear of the larger fairies)
Copperband Butterflyfish

I've lost 5 pintails, I'm thinking that will be my last attempt. Once i get a group of bartletts anthias or lyretails I'll be done adding fish.

Tried to get a few pictures of the wrasse in the tank. RIP the splendid/pintail. too bad, was great looking fish
Lineatus is officially the boss of the tank. Looks like this most the day, pretty awesome.

Wondering how this one is doing, It had a lot of potential and I’m assuming it’s pretty awesome.

Also, if you ever frag that Joe knows rainbows, I’m first in line.
