Hoping this qualifies as "reef related" even though it is currently set up as fresh water.
For sale is this 1 year-old Lifeguard Aquatics system. My daughter has it set up as a fresh water, but since she is off at college she realizes she just can't care for it any longer.
System includes heater, pump, all the filter sponges and bio balls, and external glass-mounted thermometer. Includes TWO LED light fixtures - the original that came with the kit, and a second one for additional lighting. (Each LED light retails for $45).
Freshwater setup includes plants, driftwood, decorative rocks and substrate. Fish include 5 rummynose tetras, a couple of live-bearers, several (I think four) mini cory cats, and a betta. Tank can be set up for marine / reef use (particularly with the two lights).
$50 takes the whole setup. You must come prepared to break down the tank and move the livestock... which is why I am posting this here instead of on Craigslist. I want the tank to go to someone who knows aquariums.
