I'm looking to get back into hobby after some time. We're probably buying a used Red Sea Reefer 250 in the next week or so. I'm only buying tank, stand and sump. Trying to setup a system with all used products. Looking to have a mixed reef tank.

I'm in no rush to set system up, so all recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance for your help!

- DC controllable return pump
- Invest in a good skimmer
- Kessil and T5 combo is my favorite
- 3 part dosing pump
- MP wave makers
- Neptune controller if you wanna do a full send setup.

I would question getting a Red Sea tank, if I was you. I’ve heard of people having seams split on them. This has been an on going issue. I would consider getting a something different, maybe even a good old Visio or clear for life, maybe even a Innovative Marine.

Ended up getting a Waterbox 220.6 after reading about all of the Red Sea issues. Thanks for looking out, though!
