It’s pretty sad that our one mod is spineless and can’t enforce a effin rule. That’s right @djrice69 your the first that posted “I’ll take one” instead of actually modding and informing the seller that he hasn’t meet the guidelines to sale.
Hey Mike @EyeReef what’s the process to become a mod. Something needs to be done. These boards have turned more into Craigslist then actual places of discussion. I’ve been trying to do some parts but let’s get thing going again with monthly contests, giveaways, club perks, you know things to help get members and sponsors.
We here have one thing that Facebook doesn’t allow. That’s the sale of live animals. Fish, corals, shrimp, ….. but let’s make it a priority that active members are the only ones that are able to sell and sponsors are priority.
I’m not saying let’s be like the tyrants over at RC but there has to be some baseline where members feel like this is a safe place to share and explore the hobby.
Granted I know I come off as a total D bag. O I know but that’s because it’s so frustrating to see these scammers break rules and no one is here to enforce the standard rules. I can bitch all I want but it’s just a shallow threat. This is why I just talk crap. If I were a mod I’d be polite for most part. I’d give them the option to be an active member and participate or just be gone. Simple. Where not going to get long term members by just allowing anyone to sale anything they want when ever they want.

but it’s frustrating when most people fallow 2 simple rules and then these so called honest sellers pop in and just start selling. First and foremost how is that fair for the sponsors that pay money to become a sponsor? Second how is that fair for other activity members.
Yes I know life isn’t fair but at least we should all be held to a certain set of standards.
Ok ok I know I’m such a foul mouth, I know it’s not right but hey I started doing to push the envelope. I started seeing rash of scammers so I got harsher and harsher with my words hopping someone would say something to me. So I can point out the fact that there people here scamming people from there hard earned money, corals, or equipment. I always point out if I was a sponsor how angry I’d get by seeing all the sale adds from people that ain’t participating members. The sponsors or paid members should have more right to sell then non subscribe paying members.
