I miss you brother!!! Yes,
back at it. But after working in the import and export of coral/fish/inverts, seeing the hobby prices is crazy to me because I know what it really costs to land livestock for, but I also understand that people have to eat lobsters, steaks, and sushi for breakfast šŸ˜….

hope you and the family are well. Letā€™s trade coral soon.
Sounds good to me, youā€™re still in the same place?

Took a couple of hours today to Tidy things up. You know, keeping wifey happy so we can shop for livestock together now that we know the tester frags are doing well (full polyp extension and colors are on point) and the fish are plump and healthy.

we want to add a mandarin dragon goby; her favorite.
We seeded the tank with pods a month ago, and will continue to add to maintain the colonies. We had a pair in our previous tank for about 8 years before we took it down,
so this is a pretty cool moment for us.

Digging the scape. Not too minimal and used large pieces. Not a bunch of little stuff glued together nor super artificial looking. Even have sand.
I just set up a tank after six years. All used and only forty gallons. Bummed Iā€™m in so far for about $400 and the only life Iā€™ve added is copepods. Cycled my tank with a rock from HB harbor. Meanwhile your sump took months and cost about the price of a cheap car.

I was in wholesale so long, the price of the sump was actually about the price of a couple pieces of coral. But it took forever to make, even after I offered to CNC it and glue it myself lol šŸ˜‚
