I wanted to share the deal I got:

1 yr old Jbj AIO- with hydra hd light - $300

Not that I Need another tank lol- but deal was too good! There were also a few other odds and ends as well- but all for $300! I picked it up yesterday in passidena. No one in my life really cares lol, I’ve been excited so figured I would share here with you all, maybe some of your are as crazy as me 🤣 .

who ever said 6 running tanks was too much?

Here photos of how it was when I picked it up:

all lights and pumps were off. Fish were dead. Corals looked dead too, super yellow water and very high salinity:

dumped all water except enough just to take
Corals home.

rinsed the sand. Threw out all media from rear chamber.

filled with freshly mixed water, microbacter7 dose, new socks, new sponge in rear, cleaned pumps and there a small skimmer I had in the rear chamber. I left it off since I added the microbacter7- but will run it until I get something that fits better in the rear chamber. I have a Santa Monica algae scrubber I’ll add when the time comes, and some mp10’s and maybe a second light.

ordered new heater (threw away the old one, don’t Trust used heaters anymore)

left rocks outside in sun. I have other rock I may use. Moved some ceramic media into rear chamber.

I’ll let this cycle a bit, and hopefully make this a softie/macro algae tank filled with small/nano fish, shrimp, and only small things lol.
