In case anyone is wondering how to update the firmware on their AquaIllumination Controller:
You can use the steps below to update the firmware on your controller using a PC computer.
1. Connect the New Controller to a Windows based PC.
2. On the controller, select MENU, then scroll through to 'Firmware Update'
3. A Removable Storage device will appear on My Computer. Open this device, and delete the file named firmware.bin
4. Go to the following link: https://lkmdg.com/XRR6JPDZcM
5. Right click on the current firmware file noted at the bottom of the page and SAVE/SAVE AS to your Desktop
6. Drag the new file from your desktop into the box. You will see a green bar shortly go across the screen.
7. When this is completed, unplug power to the controller and plug into power normally. (I had to plug mine back into the PC again, before being able to use the power block, in order for it to clear the "Firmware Update" screen)
