Anyone have experience with keeping a 6 line with other wrasse’s wanting to add 1 more wrasse to my 60 gal I’ve had a 6 line for about 8 months no aggression to other fish and don’t really want to get rid of him I know there considered aggressive or semi aggressive but just wanna see if any one has success with keeping 6 line with others in a smaller tank thanks

There's a knowledgeable group of wrasse lovers on the other forum, and from what I've gathered, 6 lines are high risk of turning aggressive after becoming established in a tank. Then again, many people will cite theirs as model citizens, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've heard some horror stories about Six Lines. I have only had one experience with a Six Line and it did not end well. A buddy of mine was quarantining a couple new fish he got (one of which was a Six Line) and a McCosker's Fairy Wrasse I had just picked up. The fish were in those little cube tanks you see in fish stores, all one system, but separated, and the Six Line swam through the acrylic barriers, two cubes over, and thrashed my McCosker's. It all happened so fast too. So I wouldn't do it personally.

I have pseudochromis purple, six line and yellow coris. They don't get along but they haven't killed each other yet in my 60-gallon cube. The other of introduction to the tank was 6-line with bunch of other non aggressive fish, purple pseudochromis and yellow coris last.

I only had a 6 line once and he was an A hole. My tank is small tho. You might have better luck with a larger tank than I did.
