It is his purgative. It is fair if he wants to enforce the rules, that is what they are there for. They are designed to keep ppl. selling ED medicine, weight loss plans and other Non- reef related items off the forum.
To even further his dedication to this reefing community @joseserrano knows I am a loyal customer of his and whenever I am setting up a new system, I am in for a few things from him. So it is that dedication to this forum that he is willing to risk his own personal livelihood. I admire that! I personally wouldn't do it... But again it is his choice.

Ok - need to make sure rule #1 (more than 30 posts) and #2 (active for more than 60d). I get it — it’s fair. Rules are rules. I was just inquiring on the technicality since the post has pictures & a price. Indeed many of us have seen a lot of scammers and new members attempted to sell non-aquaria products /services so I understand that we have to be on the lookout for each other.

He’s actually just looking out for other members.
This forum unfortunately has a lot of scammers other then the things you listed, a lot of the long time members have been scammed, out of a lot money.
the point is to get new people involved in the community, instead pawning off broken shit to other members.
other people may not like what Jose is doing, but it’s done for a reason.
I’m glad you pointed out the chipped corner, after me driving out 120 miles total to for me to come discover it for you. Get involved, share your knowledge,
and you’ll meet a lot of cool local reefers.
