Yours is looking good also. I have seen @nkkm also and you guys are both getting about the same growth. I wonder why mine took off so much in comparison to both of yours.

Just shot using my Samsung Galaxy S21+

We need to get together and do a tank tour and see how each of us are running our systems and what’s working, what not

Yeah that would be cool. I struggle. Some stuff is great in my system and some stuff not so much.

Let me know when you guys are available and we can ,

You’d be surprised my frag tank and main display are tied to same system and one is doing 50% better than the other . Can’t explain why .

LOL Seems like I have a similar problem with frag tank being plumbed into display. Where are you located? Im in Torrance 90505 and @nkkm is in the Montecito Heights area.

Ditto for me. Same water/nutrients but there are 2 big variables affecting color growth & color: flow and lighting. My DT is has better growth since it has better flow but weaker lighting. So this one makes sense and I’m adding more pumps to the frag tank.

I think another factor affecting my growth: frags tend to move around a lot on the frag tank vs DT. Corals need time to settle so stop moving them around!

Another minor variable is the fish & CUC we keep. My frag tank is suffering from GHA, suffocating frags, but none in the DT — need more CUC.

Yeah I have a lot more par going in my frag tank so I I’m trying to compare if more par = better color or growth. So far color for me yes growth eh nothing crazy.

I have a small frag tank so all I cAn fit in there as far as algae control was a Tomini tank but he stinks at eating algae. So when a frag gets bad I throw it in a frag rack in the display and my yellow tang cleans it up in a couple hours

IME more flow = faster growth! Higher PAR? Uhm — no clue actually. My main tank got better color running G4 Pro vs frag tank’s G6 Blue — I don’t think that lighting plays a huge role in my tank, set it & forget it! I suspect that the light is more for me than my corals.
