Age of aquarium has them. I tried black, white, orange, blacke/white in the past. The mollies seemed to be more hardier.

Tong in FV have lot of black saltwater sailfin Molly $8 each or 5 for $35. I personally would just get the freshwater one and acclimate them to lessen disease transfers

Also, if you acclimate them yourself, then they are a true canary in the coal mine and will let you know if you have any diseases or parasites in your system, as they won't have any immunity to saltwater pathogens, etc. But, if you get them fully acclimated, they will have likely built up immunity already. You can acclimate them in hours or over the course of a day, which is better. Just put them in a 5g bucket with an airstone and drip away. Start with just an inch or two of fw, then remove half of the water when it's doubled. Do this until they reach your tank's salinity. I've done this since the early 80's.

I would not buy any saltwater fish from Tongs based on my past experiances. One of the big reasons to get mollies is to be the canary in your tank. Buying mollies already aclimated to Saltwater by someone else may not do that.

Is this alternative to QT? Just observation with mollies?
Not an alternative, but confirmation that QT was successful. My very first saltwater fish were mollies when I was 11 years old, that was in 1980. Mollies are found near estuaries and will come and go between salt/brackish and fresh. Some Killifish are also found in full saltwater.
