Looking for something to notify me when alk drop due to plugged line ect. Will this send a push notification when alk drop to a certain level? Ie if alk drop below 8, notify me?

Dont want to deal with Apex and other controller btw. Looking for a stand alone unit like alkatronic.

Yes the alkatronic will notify you if the alkdrops too low as well as adding a dose of alkalinity solution. The alkateonic will test and report and depending on user presets dose alkalinity solution and notify you if the level drops too low. If the level goes above the preset range the alkatronic can be set to turn off dosing.

There is also a DIY test reagent recipe on R2R you can look up. If you use the DIY reagent you can make like 2 years worth(depending on test frequency)for like 20-30 bucks.

Also just to be clear the Alkatronic is supposed to be used more as a monitor to keep tabs on your current automated dosing and only take action when that goes out of range. The machine comes with a switchable outlet that shuts down your dosing should the level get too high and has a spare alkalinity reservoir should the level go to low.

For the money I would look at a hydros x10. It also may be hard to find parts for these. One may need to stock up on parts as they are shipped from Canada. The Focustronic app works way better then then alkatronic app. This was a pretty solid device for me but I would stay clear if the Mastertronic

thanks for the info. I’m running a kalk reservoir on a miuwalkee ph controller that has shut off if kalk get dump accidentally on by my stepper doser. It never happened really. The doser is super accurate.

But sometimes I forget to turn doser on after I turn it off for maintenance of the reservoir. So I need something to remind me when alk get too low when I forget to turn it back on.
