In case anyone wants to save some cash on sales tax ...

https://www.aquariumspecialty.com/
  • No sales tax when delivered to Cali. Maybe even all states except for South Carolina (where their store is located)
  • 5x points on purchases
  • Easy to deal with by calling (usually Scott the owner or his wife Kristen picks up) or contact form
  • If you do not see something on their site, request it and provide a link. They will do their best to fulfill. From new tanks to smaller items.
  • Most times an item says "out of stock" but it lets you order it. It will either get shipped or they contact you that they are not able to get.

oh cool! I'll have to try premium aquatics again. It was a while back but I think I saw them charge me sales tax so I put them lower on the list. haha

Just confirmed no sales tax indeed!

Aquacave.com is no sales tax as well. I could've sworn I was charged sales tax from them at one point. Oh well .... more the merrier :)

Don, PremiumAquatics do price match as well with amazon, brs and other web vendors. I like to order thru PremiumAquatics, they ship fast and great customer service.

Awesome thanks! Yea I remember asking the owner, Jason, a few times to put certain items on their ebay store so I could use my ebay bucks :D Really cool of him! .... and yes, agree, PremiumAquatics ships fast and has great customer service!
