I don't know what pump I'm running, but I think its an Iwaki pump. Right side is fresh water left is salt with valves. When I mix salt and water, it recirculates. I also added a food grade hose and remote with switch so I don't have to carry buckets for my ato or water changes. If this helps with some inspiration.

I use an air pump. I have the airline go through a PVC pipe to the bottom of the container so it doesn't coil up. It moves a very good amount of water, uses little electricity, and adds no heat. It takes me about 4 hours for 25g of water to dissolve the salt. I just leave the pump running until I use the water. Very easy and cheap setup.

Yes this is kinda how i plan on setting mine up but with a retractable hose reel to help keep things a bit cleaner and easier to pull/store after water change how ever I’ll be using brute trash cans for now

Be careful with some of those reel with the metal fittings they have, as well as the quality of the hose that they come with, that could leach chemicals into your water.
