Yes definitely test. Find out the levels and work from there. Heck. All you might need is to increase water changes. I’m dosing all for reef and Kalk mixed in my ato. So far it’s kept my levels steady.

I’d suggest and see how your levels are. Just recently I was able to Sustain parameters to the point I’m only doing a tri weekly monthly even water change. I will add I’m dosing every other day if not every third day.

I am starting to use it again on my 120. I used it on my first 90 gallon but my parameters where never really under control and caused lots of high no3 and phos. I’m about two weeks in so can’t say I see a difference other than coral feeders coming out more when dosing.

Not sure you need to get that elaborate, just an air stone while you mix. I have a pump, heater and air stone connected by a power strip. When I do a water change, I let it run for a few minutes and start adding it to the tank.

I mean you can. I just do what the manufactures states. I do mix overnight with an air stone.

Although the Reef Crystals solution may be used immediately, we suggest aerating the water until it achieves oxygen/carbon dioxide equilibrium.
