what is everyones experience with these, seems all my corals but my shrooms have babies. My LPS, Zoa/Paly and sps are all growing, but shrooms haven't. Do they just take a long time?

I bought a healthy looking watchmen about two weeks ago, saw him for two days, looked great. Now I can't find him anywhere. Same thing Happened to my pistol I added before him. I can hear the pistol snap at night. Is it normal to not see the watchmen?
