I had the same issue in the past, after a week or so it finally opened up...maybe just leave it alone and see what happens to him..good luck.

Depending on the inside dimensions of your stand ..a simple way to do this is to purchase an upper cabinet from Lowe's that are made for kitchens and gut it..the Lowe's pre- fab cabinets have solid oak doors on them..u just have to seal it..and then u can add legs on them , make sure to use...

Did u purchase at lfs?..what did they call it?..

40-42 is a good height,, black silicone on dark stand is just fine.
