Long term that’s going to cause a bacterial bloom. High pH isn’t a problem I’ve had to deal with. I imagine injecting CO2 in the skimmer would be a good choice for lowering the pH

I don’t know what the Chris C method is but I use a Kalk reactor for 100% of my evap water and my corals are growing out of control. Also my pH doesn’t get much above 8 but the proof is in the pudding. (Lights aren’t on yet)

When you run both, you get spikes when your kalkwasser doses. I have Ming tied to evaporation /ATO. Really the only way to have a flat pH curve would be with a very large refugium with inverse lighting schedule.
