Just got my first pair of clowns. They are my first fish. My tank is cycled, ammonia and nitrite are at zero, but nitrate is at 10. I'll fix this with large water changes once I get a decent mixing bucket. Atm I can only do 5 gallons. But at night I noticed my smaller clown wriggling at the top...

I'm using an API test kit and I did add biospira, so that should add bacteria? Maybe the ammonia and nitrite are being processed fast? I was really hoping I'd get that classic tank cycle so I didn't have to guess at things.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I do want to add the clowns for that reason, but the fire fish is so timid... Clowns aren't aggressive so I suppose it should work. Also there are two, so maybe the bioload will be too much? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
