New clownfish give me a heart attack

I've read that they are just trying to sleep(true??) and that they have nothing to host. I threw a conch shell in so maybe they'll sleep there but idk. I stayed up late bc I had an immense fear of my clowns dying... they were fine in the morning... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New clownfish give me a heart attack

Just got my first pair of clowns. They are my first fish. My tank is cycled, ammonia and nitrite are at zero, but nitrate is at 10. I'll fix this with large water changes once I get a decent mixing bucket. Atm I can only do 5 gallons. But at night I noticed my smaller clown wriggling at the top...

Hello! New to the hobby :)

This is my 36 gallon soon to be reef tank. Feel free to ask any questions or offer advise! I am almost done cycling and I'd like to know if I'm ready for fish. I've had zero ammonia for a week, zero nitrite for 3 days, and around 15 nitrates(a dark ten on the API scale, but a very very light 20)...

Will doing a 100% water change kill the bacteria already there from the biospira? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cycling questions

I'm using an API test kit and I did add biospira, so that should add bacteria? Maybe the ammonia and nitrite are being processed fast? I was really hoping I'd get that classic tank cycle so I didn't have to guess at things.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just started my first reef tank. It's a fluval m-90 and I was wondering if you guys c

I do want to add the clowns for that reason, but the fire fish is so timid... Clowns aren't aggressive so I suppose it should work. Also there are two, so maybe the bioload will be too much? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cycling questions

Hi I just started my fluval m-90 36 gallon reef tank about a week ago with biospira & a dead shrimp. I have pukani dry rock and thick grain aragonite sand. I have had a very small nitrite and nitrate spike but a large nitrate spike and now all three are falling. Can anyone tell me at what point...
