thanks for responce dorkymk3 ...Irecently unplugged my heater to remove calcium deposits and didnt think i needed to plug it back in I assumed the chiller would only come on if temp went above 80 degrees...just like an air conditioner would ...am i wrong to assume this?

so I bought this chiller from a fellow reefer here at this website a couple months ago. and it did not come with instructions he told me just plug it in that the temp was already set to 80 degree... well it has been working fine until today when I came home from work my tank temp was at 72...

is there a more acurate way 2 figure out total water volume.....I ,know much water is displaced with live rock and sand,,,i have a 135 display and a 115 sump filled maybe three quarters of the way..

so i bought this used controller a while back was not able to get it to work ...does anyone know where i can have it repaired or is it even worth trying to repair or just replace with another...maybe i just dont know how to turn it on ,,,
