I buy kalk at a bit over $1 a pound in bulk. I get a 50 pound bag and share it with friends.

Your alkalinity levels are much more critical than calcium levels and will change quicker than calcium levels. You really want to base your dosing on Alk levels.

I have one in Anaheim. To be honest I don't think there is any need to use one when adding those fish with your existing fish. I would not expect agression between any of them and I would think it would add to the stress of the wrasse, not reduce it.

Alk of 9 is a great! Why do youvwant it higher? How much totaly depends on your system. 600ml does not sound like that much to me. I dose 3000ml a day minimum in my 300 gallon

Sounds like you have your product and waste lines mixed up. Ie the restrictor is on the wrong line.
