They will not lay their egs in the anemone. Usually they will lay them on a rock just under the anemone. That will protect them to some extent, but not 100%. Maroons are agressive enough, they will keep most fish away.

Put each days food in a little plastic container. That way the person feeding will not have to guess how much to feed. If you dont have family or a friend you can trust how about a local hobbiest. Look up the local aquarium maintenance companies. My tank can go 2 weeks without any attention...

I agree with you in principle. I just don't really have much algae on my rocks. My tangs and others graze all day, keeping the rockwork clean. HLLE is caused by poor diet primarly. Nori is not the only way to provide the proper diet.
