While tangs love frozen food it is like giving candy to kids, as it is not really good for them. Algae is what they eat in the wild. Nori should be a good portion of their diet.

An ATS can be much more effective the a refugium, especially for the space required. I have a 3 sheet one in corporated into my overflow. It takes no addtional space and is easily tuned by changing the light schedule.
