Surge runs every 30 minutes during the day. And then from 4pm til 10:30pm it runs about every 90 seconds. Surge functions beautifully. Not sure when you saw the surge last. I switch from all gravity to a motorized ball valve a few years ago, and now the surge is silent and bubble free. Dave B

I've setup 4 tanks with DOS units so far. Other than a friend dropping one and the head breaking on impact, these are great pumps and are such a joy to make adjustments to your dosing. All the info the Apex tracks is nice. But being able to remotely adjust dosing values is great. Dave B
