    45 gallon Acros Tank

Corals are looking good! Once you setup your calcium reactor, why not just remove the doser all together? Seems like an unnecessary hassle to run both.

    Living with Cyano

That is one thing I haven't tried yet. Might give it a shot

Yes I've been doing potassium nitrate off and on for over a year

I didn't take the pic, but it is my tank. [emoji1303]

    Living with Cyano

That's kind of what I've been hoping for. There's times where I notice it going away, then boom back in full force. Frustrating.

    Schnitzel's Shallow Leemar 250

No, I don't like the heat of MH. My tank stays cool with just fans running. I don't want to run a chiller. [emoji1304] Plus T5s are giving me great growth. I honestly couldn't be happier

    Living with Cyano

No. I added them for more flow. I have 2-MP60s, 2-6095s, and 2-6105s on Sea sweeps.

Yea the last time I checked phosphates they were really low, but the cyano still grows.

    100 gallons Acros tank

Yea I've heard the cement will make skimmers go nuts for days. Leave the skimmer running, and/or add some carbon. What brand is the skimmer?

    Living with Cyano

No. I'm not very fond of poring weird chemicals into my tank. Too scared it would hurt my acros. It's a shallow sandbed. I've been vacuuming it for the past 3-4 months. No changes. Haven't tried MB7, but I have done the air hose thing. It doesn't matter how many times I suck out the cyano...

    Living with Cyano

A few months back I started seeing cyano on my sandbed, and it never went away. My corals are thriving and growing well, so I just said F it and I haven't done anything to fix it. I haven't tested phosphates in months, but I'm thinking maybe it's time to see where I'm at. I hate the way it...

    Calcium Reactor and CO2 pressure

I run mine at 20psi. Whichever pressure you pick, don't ever change it. I think Alan le recommended 20.

    Schnitzel's Shallow Leemar 250

I have no problem being a bulb biatch. My first set of bulbs last 13 months. It took me less than an hour to take down both fixtures, thoroughly clean them, and install all 16 bulbs. Well worth it if you ask me. I ran diy leds with T5 supplements, I ran Radions with T5 supplements, and now all...

    100 gallons Acros tank

Honesty I would look into running reefbrites or something is a strip of leds. That way it will have more spread. Or go with a 2 bulb T5 retrofit, and you can run those led bulbs. That way it won't add much heat, and it will give great spread. If it was me, that's what I would go with. OR...

    100 gallons Acros tank

I would be concerned with the weight on that sump. That sump doesn't look like it's much more than 1/2" acrylic. If it was 3/4" or 1", that would be a different story. Also that radion looks like it's gunna be real close to the top of the tank, might not get the best spread.

Here's a pic I just took right now.

    Schnitzel's Shallow Leemar 250

Ditched the radions. Not saying LEDs don't work, but they just didn't work for my tank. Now I'm Running 2- 54x8 ATI dimmable Sunpowers with 2-Reefbrite XHOs. Best light setup I've ever used. My acros have been growing like crazy!!!

Little update. Back from the dead Tanks gone through quite a few changes since I last updated this thread. The most important change has been the ATI T5s. Check it out
