I had it set up as refugium, return, skimmer filter sock from left to right. The return fed the regium so I could adjust flow. I don't remember it being THAT loud. My overflow and return pump was loud. Even if you set it up differently it should be quiet. The water is only falling 3 inches or so.

You guys are too much. I'll need lots of rock, just wanting to find something more local. Just let me know!

What the size of the rocks? How are they? I was reading that the earlier stuff was super dense.
