They have a A & B for aminos. Still I would say AcroPower. Does not have to be kept refrigerated and mixed like the Red Sea Reef Energy A & B. Set it on a doser and walk away.

Hanna Checkers are super easy and personally I would love to have one for Cal as I only have one for PO4. Salifert are good as well and I've used those. Currently I use Red Sea test kits. As far as the next question I have used both and prefers acropower as it's set up on my doser and does not...

    Nice clownfish in OC?

One down by me is Oceans Tropical Fish in Mission Viejo. Always has a decent selection of healthy fish and I've never had a single fish die from him unless it jumped.

List of things to upgrade to and are important: Better test kits. Need to be able to test PO4 (I use a Hanna) NO4 low range, alk, cal and mag (I use Red Sea) RODI unit or at least a good source of water from a friend or LFS. Personally I don't trust anyone's water but the water I make and I...

Just make sure you don't switch salts over night if you go this route. Do it slowly. Lol

Buy a RODI unit or hit up a LFS for your RODI water. The stuff from those stores can have negative stuff for our tanks in them and you never know when they changed their filter. Your welcome! The Clam maybe pissed about something in the water your using. What's you NO3 and PO4 at?

Also make sure to check what's in everything you put in your tank. PH buffers raise alk and some supplements have alk and cal in them.

Alkaline RO water? Test your RO water. If you New water coming in has high alk then it won't help doing a water change. Also if your corals look good and are thriving don't worry about it unless it's a swing. My 75 use to run high alk and did well, my current tank stays at 8.4 with no issues...

Don't go off what they say test yourself. Every bag/bucket is different. Also those numbers are generally from mixing the whole bag/bucket at once if I remember correctly.

I personally would be more worried about your alk then your cal. As far as bringing them down your corals will eat them up otherwise a water change if your water change water is not that high. RSCP tends to mix with high alk. For some reason I have not had that issue with my last 2 bags but you...
